Cherry Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1 egg
    1 (1 lb. 6 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in the butter, then egg to make crumbs.
    Put half the crumb mixture in bottom of greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Pour cherry pie filling evenly over. Top with remaining crumb mixture.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
