Old Fashioned Chicken Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour (plain)
    4 tsp. Clabber Girl baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or lard
    about 3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Cut shortening into flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add milk to make a stiff dough.
    Roll very thin and cut in strips and drop into hot broth.
    Cook about 10 to 15 minutes slowly.
    Do not stir or remove top from boiler until ready to serve.
