Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. self-rising corn meal
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. minced or chopped onion
1 egg
salt
pepper
garlic salt
parsley flakes

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Take a tablespoon and dip out the amount for the size you want to make.
Deep fry in fresh hot Crisco grease.
Take out when golden brown and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot.
