Chief'S Waffles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. salad oil
    4 egg whites
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff and set aside.
    Mix dry ingredients well.
    Combine milk and oil; stir into dry mixture.
    (Stir quickly and only until dry ingredients are moistened; the batter will be lumpy.)
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Bake on high in preheated waffle iron.
    For even baking, close lid quickly; don't open.
    Wait for signal light or until steam stops.
