Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening (1 c. Crisco and 1 stick butter)
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. sweet milk (Borden sweetened condensed milk)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. coconut flavoring
    3 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add milk and flavoring; mix.
    Add dry ingredients, which have been sifted together; mix well.
    Fold in coconut.
    Put batter in large tube pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
