Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    2 c. granulated sugar
    3 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. water
    2 tsp. maple or vanilla flavoring
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cook all together, except pecans, in 4-quart pan.
    Cook to 236\u00b0 (soft ball).
    Stir frequently with wooden spoon.
    Remove from heat.
    Add chopped pecans.
    Cool and beat until creamy.
    (After it cools, it sets up pretty fast.)
    Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
