Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour (plain)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add other ingredients.
    Drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown on top.
