Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. molasses (dark)
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. cold unsweetened rhubarb sauce
1 c. raisins or 1/2 c. raisins and nuts
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar well.
Add molasses and rhubarb sauce and blend together.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to first mixture.
Add fruit and nuts and bake in a greased loaf pan in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes or until done.
