Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head lettuce
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 (8 oz.) bottle creamy Italian dressing
    2 ripe tomatoes
    9 oz. pkg. crushed Doritos chips
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook ground meat until all red color is removed, but do not brown; drain.
    Mix other ingredients and add meat after it has cooled.
    This salad is best while lettuce is still very crisp.
    It keeps well in refrigerator for another meal.
