Sharon'S Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Add sugar, shortening, molasses and egg together in mixing bowl.
    Blend well.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Chill.
    Form into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar.
    Place on lightly greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 48 cookies.
