Lemon Tea Bread - cooking recipe

6 Tbsp. butter, softened
1 Tbsp. chopped lemon balm or lemon verbena
1 Tbsp. chopped lemon thyme
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. grated lemon zest
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
Preparation

Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan.
Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Heat the milk with the herbs and let steep until cool.
