Caramels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
2 c. half and half cream
1/2 c. nulomoline
1/2 tsp. lecithin
1/4 stick butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In a 3-quart pan, cook sugar, corn syrup, nulomoline, cream and lecithin.
Stir often at beginning to dissolve sugar.
Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes. Add broken pieces of butter and cook to 230\u00b0. Continue to cook and stir until mixture reaches 246\u00b0.
Remove from heat. Add salt and vanilla. Gently stir with wooden spoon.
Pour into buttered pan. Add nuts, if desired.
