Bacon-Potato Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon, cut up
    1 c. chopped onion
    4 c. hash brown potatoes
    1 c. water
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Fry bacon; saute onion and drain.
    Add potatoes and water; cook until tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients; heat thoroughly.
    Do not boil.
    Add more milk if chowder becomes too thick.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
