Jessica And Mom'S Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 heaping tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/4 c. oil
    milk (enough to make slightly thick mixture)
Preparation
    Stir all dry ingredients together, then add egg and stir into mixture.
    Add oil and stir again until well mixed.
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Add milk to mixture, slowly, while stirring, until batter is slightly thick and not too thin.
    Pour into well-greased cast-iron skillet and bake at 425\u00b0 until a knife, inserted in the middle, comes out clean.
