Calico Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large eggs
    1 c. half and half
    1 (7 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1/2 lb. or 1 (10 oz.) can asparagus, cooked and drained
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 (6 3/4 oz.) can ham, flaked with fork (sliced Buddig ham does well, too)
    2 Tbsp. chopped onions
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (10-inch) deep-dish pastry shell, unbaked
Preparation
    Beat eggs with half and half.
    Stir in corn, asparagus, 1 cup cheese, flaked ham and onion.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Carefully pour filling into 10-inch pastry shell.
    Sprinkle remaining cheese over top.
    Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    Serves 8.
