Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small box orange Jell-O
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 small can mandarin oranges
    1 small bottle 7-Up
Preparation
    Drain oranges and pineapple to make 1 cup liquid.
    (If not a cup, finish with water.)
    Boil and pour liquid over Jell-O; stir until dissolved. Add bottle of 7-Up.
    After it quits foaming, add oranges, pineapple and 1 cup nuts (optional).
    Chill.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
