Christmas Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small box frozen strawberries, mashed
    2 c. sugar
    1 large pineapple juice (46 oz.)
    4 c. hot water
    1 large box strawberry jello
    2 bottles ginger ale (serving time)
Preparation
    Dissolve jello thoroughly in hot water; add sugar, pineapple juice and strawberries.
    Freeze in 1 gallon size Ziploc bag. Remove from freezer; place in refrigerator a few hours prior to serving time.
    While slushy, add ginger ale; serve.
    Great for showers!
