Cherry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 stick margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. self-rising flour
    3/4 c. milk
    2 c. fresh cherries,pitted or 1 (20 oz.) can pitted sour cherries
Preparation
    Preheat oven to
    350\u00b0.
    Melt
    margarine
    in a deep-dish pie pan.
    In one bowl, mix 1 cup of sugar, flour and milk.
    In another bowl, mix 1/2
    cup
    sugar and fruit.
    Pour batter into pie pan with melted butter.
    Add fruit.
    Do not mix.
    Bake for 1 hour. Serves 6.
