Angel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. finely crushed graham crackers (14)
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. whipped cream
Preparation
    Beat egg whites and vanilla to soft peaks; gradually add sugar.
    Beat until stiff peaks form.
    Mix crumbs, nuts and baking powder; fold into beaten egg whites.
    Spread evenly in greased and floured 9-inch pie plate.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool completely.
    Whip the cream or use Cool Whip.
    Cut pie. Serve topped with cream.
    Serves 6.
