Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 heaping tsp. cocoa
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and sugar together thoroughly. Add eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Bake in a well-greased and floured tube cake pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
