Erica'S Easy Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 15 McIntosh apples or Cortlands
    2 to 3 c. water
Preparation
    Wash apples.
    Cut apples in quarters.
    Cores may be removed, if desired.
    Place in large pot. Add water.
    Cover and cook about 30 minutes or until apples are soft. Place a large colander over a bowl and press mashed apples through with a large spoon.
    The peels and seeds will remain in the colander.
