Jalapeno Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can creamed corn
1 to 2 Tbsp. grated jalapeno peppers
1/3 c. oil
1/2 c. grated onion
1/4 c. milk
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients together. Blend in remaining ingredients, adding more milk if mixture is too thick. Sprinkle additional cornmeal on bottom of hot greased iron skillet. Bake in preheated 450\u00b0 oven 20 minutes or until brown.
