Holiday Cut Outs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. heavy cream
Preparation
    Cream the butter.
    Add sugar and beat until light.
    Beat in eggs.
    Add vanilla and sifted dry ingredients.
    Add cream; mix very well.
    Chill several hours.
    Roll to 1/8-inch thickness. Decorate, after cutting out, with tree, angel, bell, etc., cutters.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes about 5 dozen. Dough can be made and frozen.
