Mexican Potato Topper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. diced bell pepper
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/4 sticks butter, sliced
    1/2 scant block Mexican Velveeta cheese, sliced
    1 large container sour cream
    salt and pepper to taste
    chopped jalapenos (optional)
Preparation
    Microwave on High for 5 minutes; stir and return if needed to melt cheese thoroughly.
    Can also be used as topping for broccoli, cauliflower, etc.
