Chicken & Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small fryer, cooked, removed from bone and cut into bite size pieces
    2 1/2 c. plain White Lily flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. Crisco
    1 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Mix dough.
    Roll out to about the same thickness as pie crust, prick dough with fork & cut into 2 inch wide strips then break into pieces about 2 inches long.
    Add enough water to broth to make about 2 qts.
    Bring broth to boil, add chicken & dumplings & salt & pepper to taste.
    This makes enough to serve 8-10 people.
