Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    3/4 c. dark corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, halved or chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter, add sugar gradually and cream together until light and fluffy.
    Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
    Pour into a pastry shell and bake on lower shelf in a moderate oven (375\u00b0) 40 to 45 minutes.
    This makes one large pie.
