Rhubarb Dessert - cooking recipe

4 c. chopped fresh or frozen rhubarb
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. strawberry gelatin powder
1 pkg. white cake mix
1 c. hot water
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/3 c. slivered almonds
6 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
Preparation

In a greased 13 x 9 baking pan, arrange rhubarb. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar and gelatin; sprinkle over rhubarb. Then sprinkle the dry cake mix over the gelatin mixture. Pour hot water over cake mix, but do not stir. Top with coconut and almonds; drizzle with butter. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
