Violet'S Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

1/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. self-rising corn meal
1 c. milk
1 c. whole corn, drained
1/2 c. Crisco
1/4 c. chopped onion
3 jalapenos, chopped
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 lb. ground meat, cooked
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, but meat.
Mix well.
Pour half in an 8-inch iron skillet that has been heated in the oven with oil. Then put on layer of meat, layer of cheese and then remaining mix. Bake 30 minutes at 450\u00b0.
