Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. diced potatoes
    1 medium onion
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 qt. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    salt and pepper to taste
    parsley
Preparation
    Boil
    potatoes\tand
    onion in small amount of water and cook until
    soft.
    Add
    milk,
    salt
    and pepper, then reheat. Brown flour
    in
    butter
    and
    blend
    it slowly into the potato mixture. Add
    a
    little water to the beaten egg and stir into the soup. Let
    cook for a few minutes, very slowly, and serve hot with a little chopped parsley, sprinkled on top.
    Yummy on a cold winter night.
