Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 can French onion soup
    2/3 can water
    1 jar mushrooms, sliced
    3/4 stick margarine
    1 c. peas (optional)
Preparation
    Melt margarine in casserole dish.
    Add all ingredients except peas, cover and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for one hour.
    Add peas, if desire leave in oven for another five minutes; then serve.
