Cherry Crunch(Serves 8) - cooking recipe

1 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease 8-inch square baking pan. Mix oats, flour and sugar. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Spoon half of mixture into prepared pan. Top with pie filling. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Spoon into dessert dishes. Serve warm with sweetened whipped cream or ice cream.
