Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. chopped cabbage
    2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 chopped carrots
    4 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix cabbage, peppers, carrots and salt.
    Let stand 1 hour. Boil sugar, vinegar and celery seed for 3 minutes.
    Let cool. Pour over cabbage mixture.
    Pur into containers and freeze.
    To serve, simply thaw.
