Ingredients

1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. milk
3 Tbsp. melted and cooled butter or shortening
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 rounded c. flour
1 scant tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation

In medium bowl, combine first four ingredients.
In separate bowl, sift dry ingredients.
Add the liquid into the dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Fold in beaten egg whites.
Bake in Belgian waffle maker.
