Pronto Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 bacon strips, cut up
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 1/2 c. 2 c. leftover mashed potatoes
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 to 2 cans milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    In small frying pan, brown bacon until crisp.
    Remove and drain on paper towel.
    Add onion to drippings in pan and saute 2 to 3 minutes.
    Drain fat off.
    Meanwhile, in 3-quart saucepan, mix cold potatoes and soup until smooth.
    Add milk gradually, stirring constantly, to desired consistency over medium heat.
    Add bacon and onions.
    Season with salt, pepper and parsley.
