Cornbread Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 skillet cooked cornbread
1 small can green chilies
pinch of sage
6 slices bacon, cooked crisp
1 c. fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped
2/3 c. onion, chopped
2/3 c. green pepper, chopped
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1/2 to 3/4 c. mayonnaise to taste
salt and pepper to taste
1 can cream-style corn
Preparation

Make cornbread using yellow cornmeal and chilies.
Cool. Crumble cornbread and bacon, then add the other ingredients.
Add enough mayonnaise to moisten.
(May need additional mayonnaise.) Yield:
12 servings.
