Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1 egg, well beaten
    3 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Dissolve
    yeast
    in
    warm water.
    In large mixing bowl, combine
    salt,
    sugar
    and\tshortening.
    Pour
    1/2 cup boiling water over this.
    Add egg, then lukewarm water and yeast.
    Add 3 cups flour and let rise until double in bulk (about 1 hour). Knead down
    on
    floured
    board.
    Make
    into
    desired shape and allow to rise again about an hour.
