Oven French Fries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium potatoes
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
    spices (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 475\u00b0.
    Scrub potatoes, cut into long strips about 1/2-inch wide.
    Dry strips thoroughly on paper towels.
    Toss in a bowl with oil as if making a salad.
    Toss with optional spices.
    Spread potatoes in a single layer on a cookie sheet and place in preheated oven for 35 minutes.
    Turn strips periodically to brown on all sides.
    If a crispier, browner potato is desired, run under broiler for a minute or two.
    Sprinkle with salt. Yield: 6 servings, 80 calories per serving.
    This is a low cholesterol, reduced fat recipe.
