Fresh Apple Pie(Large Recipe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 lb. apples, sliced (tart)
3 lb. 4 oz. sugar
4 oz. flour
2 tsp. nutmeg
8 oz. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation

Arrange apples in 8 deep pie pans that have been lined with pastry.
Mix the following and sprinkle over the apples: sugar, flour, nutmeg and butter.
Cover with pastry.
Brush top with milk.
Bake approximately 15 minutes at 425\u00b0, then 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until apples are done.
Yield:
8 (8-inch) pies.
