Beer Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising flour*
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (12 oz.) can beer
Preparation
    Sift together flour and sugar and add beer.
    Mix well.
    Pour into buttered 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Melt 1/2 stick oleo.
    Pour over top and return to oven for 15 minutes.
