Merry Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. peaches, drained
    1 c. pineapple, drained
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries, drained
    1 pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 c. hot water
    1/2 c. combined peach and pineapple juice
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. whipped topping
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Drain fruits and reserve juice.
    Dissolve gelatin in hot water and add fruit juice.
    Chill until partially congealed.
    Blend cream cheese with lemon juice, salt and mayonnaise.
    Fold in whipped cream.
    Beat chilled gelatin until light and fluffy.
    Fold into cream cheese mixture and fruits.
    Pour into chilled buttered pan.
    Freeze until firm.
    Remove from freezer.
    Let warm enough to cut into squares.
    Serve on lettuce leaf.
    Garnish with maraschino cherries or coconut.
