Scripture Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Judges 5:25 (butter)
    2 c. Jeremiah 6:20 (sugar)
    6 Isaiah 10:15 (eggs), separated
    1 Tbsp. Exodus 16:31 (honey)
    4 c. 1 Kings 4:22 (flour), sifted
    1 tsp. Leviticus 2:13 (salt)
    2 tsp. 1 Corinthians 5:6 (baking powder)
    1 Tbsp. 1 Kings 10:10 (mixed spices)
    1 c. Judges 4:19 (milk)
    1 c. Genesis 43:11 (almonds)
    2 c. 1 Samuel 25:18 (figs)
    2 c. 1 Samuel 30:12 (raisins)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
    Add well beaten egg yolks and beat well.
    Add honey; mix.
    Sift in dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with milk to the butter mixture.
    Beat until smooth. Add chopped nuts and fruit.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into a greased paper lined 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour 15 minutes.
