Baked Shoestring Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium baking potatoes, pared or 2 pkg. frozen French fries (omit butter)
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
salt and pepper
1/2 c. grated sharp processed cheese
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 c. light or heavy cream
Preparation

Cut a 24-inch length of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Cut potatoes in thin lengthwise strips as for French fries and place just off center on foil. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, cheese and parsley.
Pull edges of foil upward, then pour cream over the potatoes.
Fold foil.
Place on shallow pan and bake in very hot oven at 450\u00b0 about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until done. Fold back edges of foil and sprinkle potatoes with extra chopped parsley, if desired.
Makes 4 servings.
