Mushroom Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. light cream (half and half)
    2 (8 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. finely crushed saltine crackers
    1/2 c. Velveeta cheese, cubed
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Saute onion in butter; drain mushrooms, reserving 3/4 cup of liquid.
    Combine eggs, cream, mushrooms and liquid, spices and saltines; add onion and cheese and mix well. Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Bake covered for 30 minutes.
    Remove cover and continue baking for 30 minutes more.
