7-Up Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. margarine (3 sticks)
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. lemon extract
    3/4 c. 7-Up
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening together and beat until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time and beat well.
    Add flour alternately with lemon extract and 7-Up.
    Pour batter into well-greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
    When thoroughly cool, sift powdered sugar over cake. This cake freezes well and stays moist.
    Serves 16.
