Hot Spiced Punch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
2 (16 oz.) cans jellied cranberry sauce
3 1/2 c. water
6 c. cider
Preparation

Combine sugar, 1 cup water, salt and spices in large pan. Heat to boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer.
Combine cranberry sauce and 3 1/2 cups water in blender.
Gradually add cranberry mixture and cider to sugar syrup.
Heat to just below simmering and serve.
