Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes (unpared)
    1 stick butter
    1 can mushroom soup (undiluted)
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    3 green onions, chopped with tops
    2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. crushed corn flakes (optional)
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in their jackets with bay leaf in boiling salt water until barely tender.
    Cool, peel and grate.
    Add butter to soup; stir until smooth.
    Blend in sour cream, salt, pepper, green onions and cheese.
    Pour over potatoes.
    Stir gently until blended.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
