Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 qt. fresh halved strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. minute tapioca
    2 Tbsp. butter
    Pie shell
Preparation
    Crush enough of the strawberries to get 1 cup.
    Add sugar and tapioca.
    Cook over medium heat until clear and thickened.
    Add butter, cool, stirring occasionally.
    Arrange remaining strawberries in pie shell. Pour berry mixture over strawberry halves.
    Let cool.
    Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
