Sweetheart Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. plain gelatine (Knox)
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. cherry juice (maraschino)
    1 (8 oz.) large pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    12 maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Heat pineapple with sugar.
    Add gelatine which has been softened in the 1/4 cup cold water.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add lemon juice and cherry juice and set aside to cool.
