Creamy Split Pea Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. uncooked split peas
    4 1/2 c. water (boiling)
    1 bay leaf
    1 small chopped onion
    1/4 c. raw cashews or sunflower seeds
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1 Tbsp. CHICKEN-STYLE SEASONING
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Lightly boil

    ingredients until peas are soft (45 minutes).
    Cool
    a little and remove bay leaf.
    Blend with remaining ingredients.
    Return
    to pan and simmer until thick. Stir occasionally.
    Makes 1 quart.
