Vegetable Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen pie crust
    1 pkg. frozen broccoli
    16 oz. can yams or sweet potatoes
    1 egg
    1 can mushrooms
    2 tsp. butter
    4 to 5 slices American cheese
    1 small onion, chopped
Preparation
    Brown bottom of pie shell slightly.
    Cook broccoli according to package directions.
    Saute mushrooms and onion in butter.
    Beat egg slightly and mix with broccoli, mushrooms and onion.
    Place mixture in cooked shell.
    Place cheese slices on broccoli mix.
    Mash yams or sweet potatoes with 1 tablespoon butter and water in can and place on top of cheese and broccoli.
    Cut top of pie crust in strips, lattice top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until top crust is brown.
